Class Registration

ABS bookPublic Education is one of the key activities of the Coast Guard Auxiliary. It is called "Preventive SAR (search & rescue)." We hope that through our efforts, people in the local area community will be encouraged to equip their boats properly, wear PFDs, fuel carefully, and observe the "rules of the road".

Our safe boating courses will not only improve your water safety and boating skills, they will also qualify you for a discount on your PWC or boat insurance with most insurance providers. Just send a copy of your boating safety certificate to your insurance agent and start receiving the savings!

Our Flotilla offers many courses in seamanship and boating safety to the public. Our current schedule of classes is listed in the "Schedule" section of this web site.

Please contact us for private corporate, business, or organization boating safety class. This is a great way to encourage your people to be safe at work, but also while at enjoying activities outside of work. Participation may be in line with your corporate health and wellness programs. We will personalize our boating safety course to meet your schedules and needs. Your people will receive quality instruction from our certified instructors at your location. For an 8 hour course, the class can be held in one 8 hour, two 4 hour, or four 2 hour sessions based on your needs. The group host should provide a room suitable for instruction of the class based on the group size. Group discounts may apply.

Our Flotilla offers instructor-led classroom training. Please see our class schedule for class dates, times, locations, and courses. You may also register in person with cash or check at the specified registration location.
